9a Project Space is a gallery and project space at Robinwood Mill, Todmorden. Our location in a steep-sided valley lends itself to creative explorations of landscape. At 9a, this landscape is something you hear, read, feel, and see.
We are interested in connections: between past and present, here and there, inside the gallery and out into the landscape, with people and the spaces around us. As a community interest company, we’re creating new ways for artists and residents to come together, through exhibitions, an associate artist scheme, and creative partnerships across the Calder Valley. Who shows up in the gallery matters to us, and we’re finding experimental, generous ways to make that happen.
