Dogs To ensure the safety of the artwork, dogs are not permitted in the space. Registered assistance dogs are always welcome.

Accessibility The building dates from the 1830s and is not fully accessible. We are working on this. 9a is located on the second floor. There is a tenant’s lift, so there is some lift access, although a member of the 9a team must be present if visitors need to use the lift.

Getting Here

Todmorden Train Station.
There are regular trains from Manchester to Todmorden and from Leeds to Todmorden. The train station has a reliable taxi office JB Taxis.

Bus Station
Todmorden bus station is a short walk downhill from the train station. Here, you can take a bus to Robinwood Mill. TIMETABLE.

Walking from the Bus Station. 1.4 miles. Exit Todmorden bus station onto Burnley Road. Turn right and continue along Burnley Road for 25 mins. Exit Burnley Road on the first left after you pass Bedford Street.

From Halifax Bus Station. TIMETABLE

Bus 591 and 592 Halifax-Burnley. Alight at Eagles Crag Brewery, opposite the viaduct. From the bus stop walk back along Burnley Road for 1 min. turn right then right again into the car park. The main entrance is directly ahead in the corner of the building.

From Burnley bus station. TIMETABLE

By bus, 591 and 592 Burnley-Halifax. Alight at the Railway Pub (no longer a pub). Cross the road to Robinwood Mill. Take the first turning on the right, then right again into the car park. The main entrance is directly ahead in the corner of the building.

By Car
As you approach the mill, avoid the right turn marked as Robinwood Country Store and take the next sharp right, then immediate right into the car park.
